My 7' pockets.

Do you ever get the feeling that some things wouldn't have happened around you if you weren't in the exact place you were? Not in an egotistical, the world revolves around me, kind of way, but "It simply wouldn't have happened the same way if I hadn't been right here." The stewardess for first class on my flight back from Atlanta last week was insane. I was sitting in row 10, just behind the wall that divides first class from the rest of the plane. She was probably mid-50's, and found out it was two of the first class customers' birthdays. So she sang "Happy Birthday" Marilyn Monroe style. And turned the emergency white lights on on the side of the seats on, just because "You've probably never seen these before". She poured a diet coke for someone... except no one in first class was drinking diet coke. She gave me the diet coke. Funny. I was thinking how I'd respond to the singing over the intercom if I'd been in the back of the plane... I simply just don't think it would have happened.

Why does everyone wear sunglasses in the subway? Seriously, that's weird.

I'm bad at being a girl. But I now have a dress for the gala on Monday. Oh, and I bought heels today. *gasp* I know, right? I'm also probably even going to have to get a mani/pedi before Monday. Here's to hoping I don't kill myself in the heels.

The CEO of Delta saw my project today. Too bad the touch system wasn't working when he was in the room. Le sigh.

I also watched the museum hang the alarm for Vermeer's The Astronomer. Yeah. My life is surreal.
