Small World

I know we all know my world is seriously small and full of crazy coincidences of knowing people, but this is getting out of control. Claire's sister and my sister are roommates in Allen - I just found this out today. And this type of thing doesn't really surprise me any more (after most recently meeting one of Nick Fabek's friends who went to high school with Veronica), but seriously?

The hotel managed to get me in the same room for all 8 nights I'm here, so that's a relief. I'm feeling very... reminiscent? tonight. I miss a lot of people, and online and phone just are not cutting it. Unfortunately, a lot of those people are countries away or super insanely busy. I'll miss seeing Christie this weekend, because I'll be staying in Atlanta, and as of yet don't have someone to come down here and hang out for the weekend. I think in early October Becky from my first ASB trip will be coming to visit me - yay! I might get to see Caragh for an evening, but missed a French friend who was in Chicago this weekend, as well as one John Linick. I don't like this whole, getting older and being further away from people with less time at "home" or wherever in which to catch up. It is definitely nice, however, living in a city where people WANT to come visit and just randomly stop in or have meetings there. Yay.
