Life is funny. It's weird to me that... not that funerals bring people together the way that they do, but that often a life occasion like that (or "life event" as my benefits package would say), whether happy or sad, is what brings people together that haven't seen each other for years. That people only see each other for those major life events. And its funny what we remember from those events, or at least what I remember from major moments and their happenings.
