Feel free to add pinpoints to my Google maps to suggest places to go, if you have some favorites.
I now have a Chicago one and an Atlanta one.
I think the way to sum up my project is "non-traditional". All around.
One of my co-workers has 10-month old triplets. Which explains why I was standing in the middle of Walgreens, cracking up at a tiny t-shirt with an image of a stroller that says "This is how I roll."
Now opening the floor to suggestions of "what to do with my time in a hotel room, in a city I am unfamiliar with, without people to explore with me". Keep in mind I am a chicken, dont really know the area, and dont really have people to explore with me. And tend not to explore if I dont have someone else with me or at least some knowledge of the area. Assuming I dont want to do only work when I get back to the room. Current thoughts so far : write a novel, becoming famous while working full time.
Apparently, my apostrophe is not working, though the quotation mark will work.
I fricking love the Discovery Channel.

If you brought your camera, I'm sure it's not that difficult to find some nice photos of stuff to upload to Picasa or Flickr. If you tend to get carried away with the picture-taking, you might find yourself wandering around looking for that next great view ;).
Here's a tourist guide Google came up with (which is infinitely better than the suggestions I got from one of the IRC channels I haunt).
Perhaps now would be a good time to try and break out of the shell? Although writing a novel sounds like an idea too...
