Perkins is a-mazing

So much work to do. So almost 1 am in the morning, to be redundant.

The manager just shot a straw wrapper at me.

Da da da

I want to watch "Into the woods".
And every episode of House.

I DONT WANT TO DO ANY MORE HOMEWORK.
Senior design - sure.
Healthcare and linguistics reading - fine, its fun, even.
TOMORROW IS GOING TO EAT ME ALIVE.

I miss scalp massage circles from high school.

I am SUCH a nerd

Ok, it sounds like it would be fun to me to work as a processing engineer for a hospital. The phrase "sociotechnical system" makes me really happy.

I AM NOT NORMAL.

I am also in one of those points where I have so much to do that I am stressing out which causes me not to get anything done which just makes me stress more. Hooooooraaaaay.

But U of I had two snow days last week, which was amazing. And my stress was relieved for two days, which was great.

Webcomics

Maybe this is why I never do anything productive....
Something positive
Questionable Content
Friendly Hostility
Real life
xkcd
Phd comics
Toothpaste for dinner
Married to the sea
Wondermark
Shortpacked

Oh, and watch Red Dwarf. And Arrested Development. And the 20 minute Mockumentary "R2D2: Beneath the dome". It's worth it.

Resume Schmesume

I'm tired of working on my Resume, but I really just want it done.

So I was thinking about the Capital Campaign and my interactions with some of the Trustees. I really enjoyed talking to them about when they were on the campus, and having "hours" in the dorms, when females were expected to be inside the dorm by. At any rate, later on in the evening I was asking if there was a polite way to remove an olive pit from your mouth and one of the Trustees goes "Yup!" and spits the olive pit in her mouth directly into the trashcan. One of the cool parts of being a member of the Y student board is having community members of a different generation know your name, respect what you have to say, and have so many questions for you that you have to shove food in your mouth furiously.
